Hot Rods Community Partner

Flora Templeton Stuart and the Bowling Green Hot Rods want to motivate young people to serve our community. We are seeking recommendations of students and classes for service to the community. This program will instill confidence, the ability to make a positive difference, determination to make that difference and values to care. Service awards will be given throughout the year based on the recommendations of students, teachers and school administrators for students who have performed community service. Schools with the greatest participation will also receive a cash award and recognition.

The Bowling Green Hot Rods and Flora Templeton Stuart want to inspire student artists and reward them for their creative efforts. The Hot Rods are seeking original artwork based on the fun and excitement of Hot Rods Baseball. These can be drawings or paintings of Bowling Green Ballpark, Hot Rods players, team mascot Axle, or other subjects that allow students to express their vision of what Bowling Green Hot Rods Baseball means to them.

To encourage student reading, the Hot Rods will provide your students with the opportunity to check out a Hot Rods game during the 2010 Season. Reading is a large part of a student's development and growth and without that appreciation for reading many students lose the drive and thirst for knowledge.
