$350,000 – Pizza delivery vehicle/pedestrian Our client was crossing the sidewalk when she was struck by a pizza company vehicle delivering pizza. Our law firm filed suit, retained expert witnesses and after litigating in court, we mediated the claim. $325,000 - Broken Hip We obtained a settlement of $325,000 without court with client receiving lifetime income when our client broke her hip. Her vehicle was crushed in a rear-end collision. Our law firm reduced the medical liens.
Our law firm filed suit, litigated in court and obtained a $325,000 settlement for our client when hit by a tractor operator who turned left in front of our client. She suffered from a broken jaw, severe facial lacerations, and permanent scarring.
$325,000 - Car Accident Our client, although an adult, chose to place her settlement in an annuity for life after injured in a car accident that left her with a broken hip and 141,000 in medical bills paid by PIP and Medicare. $250,000 - Brain damage A semi truck overturned and hit our clients car (mother and child). The mother sustained a brain injury but recovered, and the childs funds were placed in a trust. $270,000 - Permanent Scarring - Drunk Driver We mediated a $270,000 settlement for our client who was a passenger in a vehicle that was struck head-on by a drunk driver. $250,000 - Head trauma and brain damage Our law firm, after an extensive investigation, negotiated without court a $250,000 settlement for our client who was a passenger in a vehicle on which a tractor-trailer overturned. She suffered major head trauma, which caused brain damage and amnesia. Our client's medical bills totaled over $39,000 at the time of settlement.
This settlement was obtained without court for our client who was in a five car collision when she was hit in the back and pushed in the front therefore sustained two impacts. The client's front end was crushed and we eventually obtained payment of all of her medical expenses by PIP and Medicare as well as obtaining a Medicare waiver for their lien so all bills were paid.
$230,000 - Brain Injury We negotiated a$230,000 settlement for our client. He was driving an escort vehicle behind a mobile home prior to the accident. Due to complications with the mobile home, the client stopped his car and got out to repair the mobile home. While repairing the mobile home, another car struck his escort vehicle, which caused it to strike our client. He suffered from broken ribs and a mild brain injury. $210,000 - Neck Surgery A settlement of $210,000 was obtained without court when our client was thrown from the car and needed with surgery. The client incurred $66,300.00 in medical bills, but we obtained payment of the medical expenses by insurance. $205,000 – Facial Scars Our law firm fought hard to obtain our clients’ settlement and disability. She was a young woman who needed plastic surgery for her facial scars and neck surgery after she was rear-ended. We established future medical treatment needs which resulted in full payment of her medical expenses. $200,000 - Collapsed lung Attorney Flora Templeton Stuart went to court against a semi truck company and before trial mediated the settlement when our client was hit by a tractor-trailer. The driver of the tractor-trailer suffered from road rage and was illegally passing our client when our client was attempting to make a left turn. The tractor-trailer plowed into our client, crushing his vehicle. Our client recovered from his collapsed lung. $200,000 - Fractures A semi truck drove in a no passing zone running our client off of the road. Our client sustained numerous fractures and after a court battle we settled before trial. The trucking company fought liability. We retained experts to establish that the trucking company was at fault. $175,000 - Punctured Lung A settlement of $175,000 was recovered without court for our client who suffered a cut to his head, broke his shoulder, sustained bruised kidneys, a punctured lung and broken ribs in a major collision when a semi truck ran a red light. His vehicle was crushed and the semi had ignored the traffic signal in running a red light. We obtained a Kentucky State Police report with photographs and investigated the collision. The client was life-flighted to Vanderbilt following the collision where he almost died. We negotiated liens with both Blue Cross and Medicare which took many months. Client had approximately $45,000 in medical expenses and we saw that all of the medical bills were paid. We reserved PIP for him for his own use which is auto insurance without charge. This client was wearing his seat belt which saved his life when this semi truck ran the red light. $165,000 - Frozen shoulder Our firm was able to negotiate without court a $165,000 settlement for our client who was T-boned by a cattle truck at an intersection. Our client suffered a dislocated clavicle, shoulder and hip. Our client's medical bills totaled $32,000 which were reduced. $160,000 – Neck surgery Our firm represented a client after a semi truck caused him to reinjure his neck with surgery. Our office immediately opened a social security disability claim for him as he was now disabled after the wreck. He was able to obtain a medical card for his expenses so he could keep the majority of his settlement with his disability. $150,000 – Face Scarring Our firm travelled to our client who was hospitalized after a serious accident in Greenville. Our client sustained facial scarring and broken bones with neck injury and 103,000 in medical bills paid by insurance in addition to the settlement. We reduced the health insurance lien to $3,052.00. $150,000 - Shoulder Fracture - Motorcycle Our attorneys filed suit against a semi truck company and after litigating extensively we obtained the damages for our client who sustained a shoulder fracture when he was on his motorcycle when a semi truck turned in front of him causing his motorcycle to slide under the semi truck. Our client sustained a broken right shoulder and was hospitalized with medical expenses of $33,547.38, but fully recovered. Our law firm reduced those expenses after payment by insurance to $688.73 to be paid by the client from the recovery. We had the accident scene investigated by an accident reconstructionist engineer who established liability against the semi truck. $150,000 - Fractured ribs and Broken leg We negotiated a $150,000 settlement without court for our client who collided with the defendant's car after the defendant failed to yield. Our client suffered from fractured ribs, a broken leg and scarring. Our client's medical bills totaled over $30,000 at the time of settlement, paid by insurance. $150,000 – Fractured leg Our client’s vehicle was knocked off the road and crushed completely. Client was rushed by ambulance to the hospital and we met him the next day. We immediately investigated the scene with photos and helped him obtain social security disability so he could have that for his future. Our client suffered a broken clavicle and fractured right leg which left him disabled. $149,000 – Broken Arm Our attorneys travelled to see the client in the hospital immediately after the wreck when she was hit head-on, she had a broken left arm in four (4) places which required surgery. We worked with her obtain a fair settlement during many months of representation and a reduction of her medical bills to only $9,000. $145,000 - Bowel Perforation A settlement of $145,000 was recovered without court when our client was hospitalized from a car wreck after the defendant ran a red light. Fortunately the client was wearing a seat belt. The client’s car was crushed in the wreck and rolled down a hillside. The client incurred $57,710 in medical bills which our office made sure was paid by PIP and Health Insurance. $137,500 - Severe cheek fractures Our firm was able to negotiate a $137,500 settlement for our client who was injured when a tractor-trailer swerved to miss another vehicle and hit our client. Our client suffered a left orbital fracture, a zygomatic fracture, and lacerations to the cheek, knee and neck. Our client's medical bills totaled almost $46,000. $125,000 - Crushed feet and left leg We negotiated without court a $125,000 settlement for our client who was hit head-on. Our client suffered a hip fracture, compound leg fracture, ruptured femoral artery, wrist fracture, lacerated liver and internal bleeding but fully recovered. $125,000 - Chronic back and neck pain We negotiated without court a $125,000 settlement for our client who was rear-ended by a drunk driver. She suffered pain in her neck, back, shoulders, knees, jaws and cheekbone. Our client had $10,000 in medical bills paid by PIP. $125,000 - Reinjury to Back w/ Drunk Driver Our firm obtained a settlement of $125,000 with out court for her client who was a passenger in a vehicle when she was rear ended on the highway. She had two young children who were also injured in the car wreck with her and we also represented her two young children. The defendant was a drunk driver. Client sustained injuries to her neck, shoulders and hands. She had had prior neck surgery before this wreck, but the wreck made her much worse. We referred her to a neurosurgeon. She was employed and we collected her lost wages. This was a reinjury to her back and knee. Her vehicle was totaled. She was wearing her seat belt but still sustained major damage. She had two children with minor injuries because they were belted. We collected her lost wages and PIP without charge. We were able to collect $7,500 for each child who had minor injuries plus PIP and medical bills. A college fund was established for each child. The defendant was driving a large truck for his employer while drunk. $100,000 - Broken hip We negotiated without court a $100,000 settlement for our client who was run over by the defendant's vehicle in a parking lot. Our client suffered from a broken hip and injured his right shoulder and elbow. Our client had medical bills in excess of $23,000 and missed 37 weeks of work with $23,097 in lost wages. $90,000 – Run over by truck Fortunately we were called immediately after a semi truck ran over the vehicle in which our client was a passenger. Our client did not receive permanent injuries but was briefly hospitalized. Our investigator was on the scene and even though the semi truck company fought us in court, we eventually obtained settlement for the client in additional to all his medical expenses. $75,000 - Lacerated Liver A settlement of $75,000 without court was obtained for our client who was hit head on when a vehicle crossed the wrong side of the road and the car was crushed. Our client was hospitalized with a lacerated liver and incurred $33,517.30 in medical expenses which were paid by health insurance and PIP. $75,000 - Leg Fracture A settlement for $75,000 was obtained without court when a young child had surgery on his leg from an auto wreck when he was a passenger with no seat belt and another vehicle failed to yield and struck the vehicle in which he was a passenger. The child had $16,359 in medical bills and our law office established a college fund with a trust for the child to receive payments after age 18. $50,000 - Burns We represented and settled a case for $50,000 without court when her client who was hit by a drunk driver who forced his car into a tree. When the car hit the tree it burst into flames. The client sustained burns which eventually healed. The client was not wearing a seat belt which did complicate the case. In addition to the recovery our law firm obtained payment of his medical expenses with insurance. |
